On June 15, 2023, in the building of the Palace of Culture of Khatlon region, Bokhtar city, on the initiative of the State Institution “Center for the Implementation of Public-Private Partnership Projects” under State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan and with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund in the Republic of Tajikistan (UNICEF) in order to ensure the development of the public-private partnership mechanism for infrastructure development using the advanced experience of the countries of the region, a training seminar was held on the topic “Implementation of the public-private partnership mechanism in the development of infrastructure and social services”.
More than 71 representatives of local government authorities of cities and districts of Bokhtar region, departments of education, healthcare, transport, investment departments and businessmen participated in the event.
It was noted that with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the necessary regulatory and legal documents on the implementation of the mechanism of partnership between the state and the private sector have been developed and implemented. The mechanism of partnership between the state and the private sector is being successfully used in the fields of medicine, transport, municipality and energy.
